In 1993, graduated from department of Mechanical Power and Energy, Military Technical College (MTC), graduation project was “Waste Heat Recovery”.

Started his career work as an operation and maintenance engineer for both thermal and reverse osmosis water desalination plants, then in charge of securing the sustainability and stability of the operation and maintenance for surface water filtration plants and wells, sea water desalination plants and wells, and networks and water pumping stations, by following up efficiency, performance, and providing scientific and practical solutions.

In conjunction, he works in establishing new water treatment plants and participating in many applied researches in the field of water filtration and desalination, he was responsible for modify existing desalination plants to be operated by "Spiral Wound Membranes" instead of "Hollow Fine Fiber Membranes", and the subsequent equipment modifications.

From 2001 to 2003, he studied and get the Master of Science in Hydraulic Mechanical Engineering in "Simulating of Reverse Osmosis Seawater Desalination Systems".

Then worked as a process engineer to design, tender documents preparation, technical evaluation, financial evaluation for water treatment and desalination systems, for local and international tenders, in addition to projects management and supervision.

In conjunction, he participated in the preparation of training courses curricula, bulletins and performance tests for trainees in water treatment, desalination and water supply courses.

In 2011, approved as a consulting engineer in the field of “Desalination Plants Planning” by Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers.

In 2012, established "Water Treatment Consulting Office (WTCO)", which classified as the first engineering and consulting firm specialized in water treatment field in Egypt.

In 2013, selected as a "Desalination Plants Egyptian code" technical committee member and led the teams of studies, designs and supervision of the implementation of various projects, in North Africa and the Middle East zones.

In the same year, became “International Desalination Association (IDA)” member.

In 2019, established the first branch of the office outside Egypt, in Dubai - United Arab Emirates, to provide office's activities in Arabian Gulf region and Middle East zones.

In 2020, he founded and launched “Amr Seoudy Water Treatment Award (ASWTA)”, which presents prizes for the best three papers in the field of water treatment, which aims of encouraging young people working in the field to present their ideas and successes to the water industry community, which will benefit all workers in the water industry, the awards are offered periodically every two years.

In 2012, Eng. Amr Seoudy established "Water Treatment Consulting Office (WTCO)" in Cairo – Egypt, which classified as the first specialized office in the field of water treatment in Egypt and registered to provide consultancy and engineering services in the field of water treatment, energy and environment. In 2016, engineering training activities was registered in addition to the basic activities. In 2021, projects management and conferences organization activities were registered in addition to the previous and the basic activities. In 2019, the decision was taken to expand the office's activity globally and first subsidiary was established in Dubai - UAE, under the name " WTCO, for Consultation and Projects Management " to provide office's activities in Arabian Gulf region and Middle East. In 2020, a partnership agreement has been concluded with " ad viridis Ltd. " Resisted in London - United Kingdom, to represent the office's activity in European region. In 2022, the second subsidiary was established in Oran - Algeria, under the name, " SARL WATER TREATMENT COONSULTING OFFICE WTCO ", with cooperation with other partners, to provide office's activities in North, West and Central Africa. In 2023, a partnership agreement has been concluded with " Almondz Global Infra – Consultant Limited " resisted in New Delhi - India, to represent the office's activity in India, Asia, nearby African countries.
